LAUREN LALITA
With over thirteen years and 8,000 hours of teaching experience, Lauren’s classes unite all facets of our being: embodied, energetic/emotional, and divine. This is a path of becoming, in all three realms, that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
On the mat, Lauren teaches functional yoga with post-classical alignment. Leading yoga teacher trainings since 2012, she weaves together systems of alignment, including the evolutionary Bowspring method of Desi Springer and John Friend. Her offerings fuse old stories and even older songs with fresh meaning and magic. Above all, she bows to the inspiration of her wild magic guru, Shree Maa of Kamakhya, who makes every action an offering of ShivaShakti worship and sings constantly.
A Colorado girl landed in Northern California, she studied physics in college, but found more answers to the nature of reality in meditation and the philosophies of yoga.
